I am Shriyan Yamali, a dedicated high school student at Newark Charter High School. I love reading with one of my favorite books being One L by Scott Turow, and I
also love writing as I spend much of my time contributing to writing articles or journals.
I have a passion for computers and currently work on personal programming projects. Along the way, I've picked up skills in web design, Java, Javascript, and Python.
I also have a passion for law, which is currently expressed through my work with the American Civil Liberties Union, where I work to ensure the civil rights of many
by reviewing documents and preparing files, which helps me strengthen my research and reading skills.
Furthermore, I am actively working with NLP and machine learning processes at Stanford University to help further integrate technology with law. Alongside my work at
Stanford University, I have also built websites to host AI and NLP models at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
Moreover, I am certified in social media marketing and computer science and I won first place in two events during the 2024 Business Professionals of America National
Conference, where I was awarded first place in both Management, Marketing & Human Resources Concepts and in Meeting and Event Planning Concepts. I'm also part of my
school's Mock Trial team, which has been nationally acclaimed.
I'm excited to see where the fields of computer science and law go, and how they will eventually integrate. I'm looking forward to furthering my education and starting
my career, through which I hope to ensure legal and technological literacy as a future standard.
